Esther will be speaking at FiA 2019 on how to compete in the growing Wellbeing and Snacking categories with dairy foods ingredients and expertise. Esther joined Fonterra in 2007 and has held various research positions in cultured foods supporting both Ingredients, Foodservice and Consumer business.

Erika will be speaking at FiA 2019 on how F&B Manufacturers can use cultured products to capitalise on the growing snacking trend in Asia. Erika Galvez has been with Fonterra since 2004. Beginning her career in Food Chemistry, Erika now has over 15 years dairy industry experience spanning sales, general management, innovation and marketing.
Lu Zhang, PhD
NZMP Regional Technical Manager, South & East Asia

Lu will be speaking alongside Laura McPike at FiA 2019 on nutritional solutions for healthy aging in Asia. Lu joined Fonterra in 2009 and held several research roles before becoming the SEA regional technical manager. Prior to Fonterra, Lu was a lecturer at the University of Auckland and obtained a PhD in Food Science and Engineering at the University College Dublin.
Laura McPike
NZMP Marketing Communications Manager, Medical Nutrition

Laura will be speaking alongside Lu Zhang at FiA 2019 on healthy ageing trends and growth in low lactose demand. Laura has been at Fonterra for six years and holds a Master’s degree in Dietetics. She has held various roles in Fonterra spanning Food Safety and Quality, Regulatory Innovation, with her passion for nutrition always at the forefront.
